We rented a booth (for the very first time LOL) at the said event that's why we need to go there yesterday for the ingress.
The ingress (should) start/s at 4pm up to 8pm based on the documentation that the Ozine Event Organizer sent to us. We arrived late at around 7pm due to stopping over at our suppliers plus the heavy traffic in Roxas Blvd. We thought we were very late but then, Noeru, told us that the Function Room 5 was still empty - no tables, chairs for the booths, even wall panels so they were still waiting there for nothing.
When we arrived at the Function Room 5 of SMX Convention in Mall of Asia, we saw that some are just starting to put their stuffs in their assigned booths. While us, we still don't know where our booth is because we aren't included in their floor plan since we reserved for the booth very late.
Even though there was some incident that cannot be avoided, still, there was excitement as well as annoyance in the air as the organizers, sponsors and exhibitors were doing their best to get everything right and in their proper place in time for Day 1. We also got a glimpse of the international guests being toured around the event hall and everyone was excited (including me xD) to see and meet them. We also saw them outside the Function Room 5 upon buying some food for dinner. Too bad, I don't have my camera with me so I wasn't able to take a pic with them. And when we got back, I rush there hoping that they were still there, but I run out of luck T_T
Lesson learned: Always bring your camera with you x.x
From all we have seen so far, it promises to be an exciting 3 day event that should not be missed. But then, before the ingress ends, we leave our stuffs there without a table or a proper place for our booth x.x
