7th Christmas Toy Fair & 2nd Philippine Die Cast & Custom Car Show
Had fun with Toycon but too bad I wasn't able to cosplay that day because hubby's family tagged along with us. Don't ask why >.> I'm just too shy to show them my other side lol I also got my ordered wig at Cosmic Bytes on their booth. Another plus was that I also got my pendant from Liui as a prize for his game xD If you're looking for a blog regarding what game I was talking about, well sorry I forgot to put it here in my blog >.<
The wig that I bought <3 font="font" size="3"> This is exactly just what I wanted, for my Botan cosplay next year *giggles*3>

The event was a huge blast! Its been non-stop raining since yesterday but still, the cosplayers, photographers and even con-goers went there and didn't mind the bad weather at all.
The Gosiengfiao Sisters went there on Day 1 for the Ribbon Cutting and Opening Ceremony as well as for their Meet and Greet at the Easy Pha-Max Wheatgrass Booth.
On of their guest was also the International Band from Japan named Uchu Sentai NOIZ. They rocked the stage for 2 nights. Even though I wasn't able to went inside to watch the concert, I could say that the crowd did really enjoyed their performance.

Enchanted Culture Fest
It's been 5 years since the last time I went to Enchanted Kingdom and this time I'm going back. Not because of the rides, it's because that the Enchanted Kingdom held their first cosplay event there which was called Enchanted Culture Fest.
Enchanted Kingdom's first cosplay event was successfully held yesterday, August 11. Fortunately, the sun showed up a day before the event. The original date of this event was July 28 but was moved because of the weather and so that other cosplayers could prepare as well. Also, few days prior to the event, the Philippines experienced heavy rains, floods, and landslides which made some of the places on state of calamity.
The event was hosted by cosplayers Rina Hidalgo and Ken Lim.

VOCA★FUSION
Promotion and awareness of VOCALOID to the Filipino Community. To showcase the software, the artists and the community around VOCALOID. A fusion of different art forms combined into one. Music, Dance, Crafts and Visual Arts. All of these in one through VOCALOID.
Function room 1 of SMX will be have lots of booths with amazing merchandise (you can find stuff for cosplay, fashion, vocaloid and lots more!), lots of activities for guests and performances from bands and Pinoy Utaites.
Apparently, I wasn't able to cosplay my favorite Vocaloid character which is Yuzuki Yukari >.< The reason? I am lack of sleep and was too lazy to pack up my things >.< There were so many vocaloid cosplayers and con-goers as well though the entrance ticket for the said event was quite pricey. I was quite tired but still, I enjoyed the event even though I wasn't able to cosplay my favorite Vocaloid character.
I saw one Yukari cosplayer and thought that it was Ouji Hime's model. Well, I was kinda dismayed in Ouji Hime's commissioned props for Yukari. The props looks like it was rushed and I am not satisfied with their service in props making compared to the props of their model (Yukari).

6th TAGCOM Toys and Hobbies Convention
The Recently concluded 6th TAGCOM 2012 last March 30, 31 & April 1, 2012 was a big success. It was sponsored by Hobbiworx Inc. and Robinsons Midtown Mall. We had the chance to go there yesterday (Day 3) and we were in for a treat.
They were lots of cosplayers present. There were also many collectible items on auction and up for grabs. There were also a few antique items that were being sold. We particularly liked the old photos of some places here Manila maybe in the 70′s or 80′s, old Philippine moneys even foreign moneys and the Coca cola collectibles.
Mayden Kae Ong won as the Best Female Cosplayer while Don Robert Torio won as the Best Male Cosplayer. We were also able to see some of the classic anime and game group cosplay like Daimos, Samurai Showdown, Naruto and One Piece.

Tamashii Convention: TamaMatsuri
Due to the success of its first Tamashii Convention, the Nihon Kenkyuu Kai will once again hold a Japanese Pop Culture Convention, entitled “TamaMatsuri,”. The word "matsuri" in the title alludes to how we envision this year's "TamaCon" as an event similar to a festival. This year's "TamaCon" is aimed at allowing its participants to experience a Japanese festival, with activities and games being based on those found in actual festivals in Japan.
It has been one of the big events of Nihon Kenkyuu Kai, a Japanese professional organization of De La Salle University. It started last year, 2011, of March. The Nihon Kenkyuu Kai (NKK) is the professional organization for Japanese Studies Majors of De La Salle University and students who are interested in Japan and its culture. NKK fosters mutual understanding in building bridges of friendship among Filipinos and Japanese. It is made up of a diverse group of students interested to learn more about Japanese culture, traditions, customs and its people.
And since I don't have my own camera anymore because we sold it, Hubby decided that I should use his camera and do some practice shots. We only get a few shots from cosplayers who are there because there aren't so many cosplayers in this convention but still, I got a lot of fun and it was tiring at the same time. I also get my first Cure Cards from Ms. Yuu Shomura.
You can check some of the pics that we have in this convention by clicking here and here. Oh, and please do like my page also. Thankies ^.^

Philippine Cosplay Convention 5
Philippine Cosplay Convention 2012 is yet a free event, but the venue is big so expect that day to be jam-packed with cosplayers, con-goers and even tourists.
This year's individual cosplay competition, Cosplay.ph introduced what they called the “cosplay tag” wherein participating cosplayers were obliged to interact with other participants during transitions. A good transition will score you extra points with the judges.
Cosplayers were accommodated properly by the organizers as dressing room at the back stage was designated to them instead of going to restrooms to avoid overcrowding. Minor adjustments to the booths specially near the stage would really help as people in front were too crowded during the competition, other than that, the 5th PCC was a big success.
