Our Straw Hats Crew from One Piece

I just met the trio (Usopp, Brook and Zoro) last Saturday in Torch 3 event. I don't know much about Luffy, Sanji (in orange polo) and Mihawk. These shots were taken during the 11th Toycon that was held in SM Megamall. Hope to meet them in the future cons.

Nami (Time Skip, After 2 years) | One Piece

Wasn't really planning on cosplaying her because of her big boobs lol. I just bought the wig for my Lina Inverse cosplay and while browsing my Facebook, I saw some One Piece Cosplay Group (of Grandline Philippines) that needed a Nami and Nico Robin - Time Skip characters. I know I'm the exact opposite of Nami when it comes to appearance like I have small boobs, my height is only 5' and so on. The only thing that we both matched are being skinny >.< Even though I'm the opposite of Nami, I volunteered to join their group, but of course I won't be wearing a bra only unless that I'll wore a body stocking in it (and right now, I don't have any funds to buy/make a body stocking. Aside from that, I noticed that I would just look like a hanger wearing a bra >.< so I'll resort in wearing a sando with green stripes LOL).

Here's a little info about Nami for those who don't know her and for those who aren't familiar with One Piece xD

Nami is a pirate and the navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates. She is officially the third member of the crew after Arlong's defeat, and the second to join. She briefly betrays the crew during the Baratie Arc and rejoins at the end of the Arlong Arc after her past and true intentions are revealed. She has a bounty of 16,000,000.  


Nami is a young, normal-sized and skinny girl with orange hair and light brown eyes. Many people consider her to be very attractive or even beautiful. She has a blue tattoo (black in the manga) on her left shoulder which represents mikan and pinwheels (an homage to both Bell-mère, Nojiko, and Genzo, respectively), where she used to have a tattoo for being a member of Arlong's crew. 

• Her height is 169 cm (5'6).
• Her three measurements are (according to Sanji and series creator Oda in supplemental material) B95-W55-H85 (37"-21"-33"), making her breasts an I-cup in Japan. However, her breasts seem to grow into and then "reset" throughout the arcs (this is much more obvious in the manga and in Movie 7).

After the two year timeskip, Nami's hair has grown rather long, reaching down to her lower back. Her chest has also grown larger and rounder, like Robin's, but apart from this her appearance has not changed much, save for the fact that both her body curves and hourglass figure have become more pronounced. Oddly, her face is now drawn to look younger: with her eyes bigger (with the irises now showing), droopier, and placed lower on her face; though this may be from the art style evolving. She also appears to have grown taller, as she appears to be just slightly shorter than Robin now (although they are both wearing high heels). Her outfit after the timeskip consists of a revealing green and white bikini halter top, tight low-rider jeans (that expose some of her hips), orange high-heeled sandals, and a pair of pearl-like earrings.

Torch 3

Cosplay Tournament of Champions 3: Third Impact, Cyberzone Cosplay Grand Prix and International Cosplay Day Manila Meetup was held on SM City North Edsa last August 25. It is a triple celebration as we also celebrate the Cyberzone Cosplay Grand Prix as well as the International Cosplay Day Manila Meet-up happening on the same day!

By the way, all Torch 3 Finalists will compete in the Grand Finals on September 29-30, 2012 at Cosplay Mania ’12 in the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Manila.

Can't wait for that day to come. See you there on day 2! wooot~!

SCAMMER ALERT! Part 2

Guys, beware of this cosplayer scammer. His name is Rowie Tarroza A.K.A. Rowie Zilla. He's 17 years old (Nov. 20, 1994 is his birthday), an SK Councilor in their Barangay in Parañaque and studying at Olivarez College taking up BS in Tourism. Wow, I didn't notice that I've made a good introduction of him >.< I didn't know how true is this, I just saw it in his Facebook Profile. Anyway, it's been 4 months since I asked him to do some commissioned costume of Lina Inverse from the anime, The Slayers. That's what I'm planning to cosplay for June or July events. But since, it got delayed for so many months, I've got annoyed by this little brat because he got the time to be active and changing his primary pic in Facebook instead of attending to his customer's needs and he doesn't even respond to some of his customers. He doesn't even give us some proofs that our costume was being made. He just tells us that it's being made at the moment. Most of us (customers), wants a refund from him but too bad, he doesn't want to give us what we want because his main reason was that he already bought some materials for our costume and another reason was that there's a problem in school, seamstress, etc.etc. He also got a poor craftsmanship because one of his customer was complaining that it wasn't exactly the way he want it. I just wish that this guy would get 100x karma from the things that he have done to us and I just hope that he won't show his fugly face during conventions because I don't know what I'll do to him if ever I'll see his shitty bastard face.

With Hello Kitty Figure: Kei’s Kittyler "RIO" Part 2

Hubby and I went to Greenhills last Friday and look what he just bought O.O A Kei's Kittyler "Rio"Part 2 with Hello Kitty Figure. He decided to bought this one because we already have a Kei's Kittyler "Rio" as our collection. I think we need to replace a bigger display cabinet or add up another one since it's starting to get loaded and we can't put some of our other collections already. I just feel like sharing this to you guys since I already shared the first one (Kei's Kittyler "Rio"). Enjoy! =D

Enchanted Culture Fest

It's been 5 years since the last time I went to Enchanted Kingdom and this time I'm going back. Not because of the rides, it's because that the Enchanted Kingdom held their first cosplay event there which was called Enchanted Culture Fest.

Enchanted Kingdom's first cosplay event was successfully held yesterday, August 11. Fortunately, the sun showed up a day before the event. The original date of this event was July 28 but was moved because of the weather and so that other cosplayers could prepare as well. Also, few days prior to the event, the Philippines experienced heavy rains, floods, and landslides which made some of the places on state of calamity.

The event was hosted by cosplayers Rina Hidalgo and Ken Lim.

Lucy Heartfilia (Seis Oracion Arc) | Fairy Tail

One of the costume that I liked from Lucy was from the version of Seis Oracion. I prefer cosing this one instead of her generic one because it's way too common >.<

Here's some info about her, so you can get to know her a little more =P

Lucy Heartfilia (ルーシィ・ハートフィリア Rūshi Hātofiria) is a Celestial Spirit Mage, a member of the Fairy Tail Guild and of its Team Natsu. She is the main female protagonist of the series.

Lucy was born into the once extremely wealthy and powerful Heartfilia family. Her father and mother were originally part of a merchants' guild called 'Love & Lucky' where the two met; they decided to become independent when Lucy's mother, Layla, became pregnant. They chose her name when they noticed that the sign for the guild was missing the letter "K", and instead read 'Love & Lucy'; it made an impression on them, so they decided to name their daughter after it.

Back in her home, Lucy shared a good relationship with the staff in the estate as well as, presumably, her mother, until she passed away when Lucy was around the age of ten in the year X777. However, because her father was overly obsessed with his business and money, he had neglected his daughter, which eventually led her to run away from home just over a year before the beginning of the story.


Lucy has brown eyes and blond hair that is usually tied by ribbons of a variety of colors in a singular bunch to the right side of her head. Though in the year X791, she appears to keep her hair up more often in pigtails. She has large breasts, and a curvaceous body. Her (presumed) measurements are Bust: 91 cm; Waist: 59 cm; Hip: 88 cm (37in, 23in, 36in). These measurements were later on revealed to be approximated slightly different, with the breasts being two centimeters less, and the others, one less.
 
Her pink Fairy Tail stamp is located at the back of her right hand. Additionally, Lucy does not consistently wear the same outfit. However, she always has a belt that, along with keeping her skirt up, holds her Celestial Spirit keys and a whip with a heart-shaped end. She also wears some sort of high heels. She also bears a striking resemblance to her mother.

Southwest Monsoon Rain

It's been non-stop raining for almost a week or two and the rainfall started pouring heavily last Monday night. The electricity went out on Tuesday around 5am (not sure though) and finally, after 36+ hours of nothing but darkness the electricity came back. Who would have thought that this monsoon rain would pour heavily and would cause floods in some affected areas of Luzon like what happened during Ondoy (happened in 2009). According to PAGASA, there is no tropical cyclone affecting the Philippines. But still, expect the unexpected. Red warning is also up in Metro Manila by the PAGASA last Tuesday.

Otaku Expo Reload 2012

Another big Cosplay event that happened this year is the Otaku Expo Reload 2012. The event itself was surely loved by Otakus, Cosplay fanatics.
Otaku Expo Reload 2012 was held on August 4-5, 2012 at Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall. A lot of contest happened for the said event:

• Art Contest
• Battle of the Bands
• Group Cosplay Contest
• Individual Cosplay Contest
• Indie Artist Booth
• Karaoke Contest

There are also some activities, toy displays, and booths that everyone enjoyed. There's the "Maid Cafe," Console Gaming, Gundam model kits, Indie Mangas, auctions, trivias, cosplay booths and so many more.

It rained hard on the days of the event (Aug. 4 & 5) itself but still, it cannot stop the Otakus, Cosplayers, etc.from going to the event. We only attended Day 2 because of the bad weather but still, we enjoyed the said event.
