My Cosplans for 2012

These are the characters I (have in mind)

1. Yuzuki Yukari of Vocaloid 3

Yuzuki Yukari is the first Vocaloid developed for Vocaloid3 by AH-Software and vocalomakets.

Yuzuki Yukari is being aimed at the producers themselves rather than a general Vocaloid fandom release. She was also made capable to be bought with many different other software bundles, including both her Voiceroid and Vocaloid versions and the software suite Music Maker MX.
  • Optimum tempo: 60 - 120
  • Optimum range: D2 - F4
Strengths
In comparison to most other Vocaloids, her biggest advantage was the range of possibilities that were offered for her voice upon its release. This gave her the widest scope of abilities of any newly released Vocaloid that had been produced for the Vocaloid software. She sings in deep to mid female tone and sings in Japanese. Since Vocalmakets were Producers themselves they were able to construct an idea of what other Producers wanted for Vocaloids. She has been produced with the intent aimed at the Producers of Vocaloids. According to those who worked on her she is good at slow ballads and sings "full of feeling".
Weaknesses
Yukari is extremely breathy and is unable to hold long notes properly without fading out. Use of the "h" phoneme or dynamics editing may need to be performed. Due to this breathiness, she cannot successfully perform intense vibrato or pitch on longer notes. She is overall one of the more difficult to work with Vocaloid.

Other Software
Yukari has had her vocal featured in a number of additional software packages, making her vocal the most extensive of any Vocaloid who possess just one Vocaloid voicebank and gives her overall the most potential of any Vocaloid. Some of these packagaes are able to be bought with Yukari upon purchase, although users who manage to master her vocal may consider these packages as part of their future planning.

Voiceroid +
AH software are releasing her as a Voiceroid+ voicebank. She is the first Vocaloid released in both formats from AH Software and second Vocaloid to have a spoken version, with Gachapoid having the first via V-Talk. Voiceroid allows several tones of vocals showing different emotions. However, it is intended for speech rather than singing. Despite this, Voiceroid offers the chance for users to make rap songs easier or use her voiceroid in conjunction with her Vocaloid voicebank allowing for talking during songs.

exVoice
ExVoice contains additional samples for Yukari. This includes samples for laughter, giggling, weeping, etc. The software has also since release been updated to add more samples to the package. Users can log onto the Ah-Software website to retrieve the additional samples if they have the odd version.

-> I'm  planning to cosplay Yukari on my debut as an official cosplayer instead of Dead Master from Black Rock Shooter. Hope that everything goes well even though I still don't have Yukari's shoes because the Yukari's shoes that I commissioned was a total fail because it's way too big for myfeet. I hope that I could find a temporary shoes for my Yukari costume before Ozine Fest arrives. *crosses fingers*

2. Dead Master of Black Rock Shooter

Dead Master is a girl with wavy dark green hair and straight bangs, and neon green eyes. Her outfit is similar to a Gothic Lolita costume. She wears a black dress and a black bolero; her dress extends down to her thighs and is accented with a white ribbon attached to her waist. Dead Master also wears a pair of leggings and a pair of black pumps. She wears a pair of black gauntlets on each hand. On her head is a pair of long horns which resemble a pair of vertebrae with each tip made out of three tips joined at the end. Dead Master also has a pair of wings which sit low on her back, looking like a thick zigzag.

Her weapon of choice is a large scythe named Dead Scythe. Most of the time she is accompanied by two floating skulls, each with glowing cavities, which she uses to attack.

-> Dead Master is the first character that I plan to cosplay. Apparently, until now, the props maker hasn't finished some of Dead Master's props so I'm going for a plan B which is Yuzuki Yukari.

3. Hatsune Miku of Vocaloid

Hatsune Miku (初音ミク?) is a singing synthesizer application with a female persona, developed by Crypton Future Media. It uses Yamaha Corporation's Vocaloid 2 synthesizing technology. The name of the character comes from a fusion of the Japanese for first ( hatsu?), sound ( ne?) and future (Miku (ミク?) sounds like a nanori reading of future, 未来, normally read as "mirai"[1]), referring to her position as the first of Crypton's "Character Vocal Series". She was the second Vocaloid to be sold using the Vocaloid 2 engine and the first Japanese Vocaloid to use the Japanese version of the Vocaloid 2 engine. Her voice is sampled from Japanese voice actress, Saki Fujita. Hatsune Miku has performed at her concerts onstage as a projection.

-> Okay, I admit. I'm quite addicted to Hatsune Miku's costume. Who can't resist such a costume like that? No wonder I saw many cosplayer cosplay her with so many different outfits. And whenever there's a convention, Hatsune Miku's always there.

4. Lucy Heartfilia of Fairy Tail

Lucy is one of the saner and more stable members of Fairy Tail, having common sense that other members of the guild seem to lack. She consistently points out Natsu's and others' idiocy. Lucy is also very confident in her appearance and sexiness, exuding a certain amount of vanity. Despite this superficial attitude, Lucy is passionate for literature and is in the process of writing her own novel about her adventures with Fairy Tail.

-> As usual, one of Hubby's suggestions for me to cosplay. I find Lucy's character same as mine so I just hope that when I cosplay her it would really suit on me.

5. Lina Inverse of Slayer

Lina Inverse (リナ・インバース Rina Inbāsu?) is a fictional sorceress and the primary protagonist from the light novel, manga, and anime series Slayers.

-> This one is kinda weird. When I woke up, I just feel like I want to cosplay her. I kinda dream about her and I'm a regular con-goer and haven't seen someone cosplaying her. So, she's one of the candidates that I'm gonna portray in June

6. Lina Inverse of Dota 2

-> Lina Inverse of Dota was hubby's suggestion instead of Lina Inverse of Slayer. I also love Lina of Dota 2 so I'm still kinda confused which is which I'm gonna portray and decided to put her on my list of cosplan :)

7. Mari Illustrious Makinami of Neon Genesis Evangelion

->

8.Stocking of Panty and Stocking with Garter belt
  (xmas edition)

-> I automatically fell in love with her Christmas outfit the first time I saw her. I saw some cosplayers cosplaying her default costume so I decided that I would go for her Christmas outfit instead. Hope that it would look good on me and that I wouldn't look to thin on this one :3
